Who We Are Fueled by passion, KAYALI was founded in 2018 by beauty mogul and fragrance fanatic, Mona Kattan. Translating to ‘my imagination' in Arabic, KAYALI provides a modern fragrance experience inspired by Mona's rich Middle Eastern heritage and the art of layering scents to help you create your mood; where sharing scents is a ritual and smelling good is both an act of goodwill and self-love. Mona collaborates with some of the world's most renowned perfumers and sources the finest ingredients to create unique juices that are infinitely memorable, long-lasting, and cruelty-free. Each luxurious fragrance is an ode to true craftsmanship and tells a special story, from the addictive notes to the multi-faceted jeweled bottles. Our Mission To make everyone feel like the diamond they are! To build a global community of fragrance lovers through the power of scent and by providing them with the most innovative & luxurious fragrances, education and sharing our Middle Eastern fragrance rituals with the world. Objectives · Regulatory register in place. A simple, repeatable way of spotting new and changing regulation early and flagging what it means for the business, which continues after the assignment ends. · PPWR packaging documentation audit-ready. Declarations, certifications, reporting and traceability evidence are complete, current and held in one organized repository. · EPR registrations and reporting are up to date in every market. · Support the implementation of new EUDR compliance programme, working with Packaging, NPD, Procurement and Logistics. · Recyclability and design requirements agreed. Working with the Packaging team, recyclability assessments are complete and design requirements are documented for each market we sell in. · Readiness plan for upcoming rules. A gap assessment and roadmap for the EU Forced Labour Regulation, ESPR and Digital Product Passports across our merchandise and supply chain, with owners and timelines. Required timeline - 6 months Additional Responsibilities - This person will be managing a number of external consultants and regulations and would be required to really lead here independently. Benefits - A creative, passionate culture where you’ll work alongside people who love beauty and fragrance as much as you do. - Global exposure to a brand with an international community and presence.
Requirements
- · At least 5 years working within sustainability or regulation, ideally in beauty, retail or consumer goods.
- · You get to grips with new regulation quickly and are happy to take a position before the guidance is final.
- · A real interest in AI and technology, with examples of how you've used them to make work simpler.
- · Strong project management skills, including managing consultants or other external partners.
- · You're comfortable using data to make decisions.
