Planning Engineer - Facade

We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer with a strong background in the façade industry, particularly in aluminium, glass, curtain wall, and glazing systems. The candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, monitoring progress, resource allocation, and coordination with project teams to ensure timely completion of façade works in accordance with project requirements. Key Responsibilities - Develop, monitor, and update project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project. - Prepare detailed project plans for façade fabrication, material procurement, delivery, installation, and handover. - Coordinate with project managers, design teams, procurement, production, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution. - Monitor project progress against approved schedules and identify delays, critical activities, and potential risks. - Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and recovery plans. - Track engineering submissions, material approvals, shop drawings, material procurement, and installation milestones. - Plan manpower, equipment, and material requirements in coordination with site and production teams. - Conduct progress meetings and follow up on action items with relevant departments and subcontractors. - Analyse project delays and prepare delay reports, mitigation strategies, and revised schedules. - Coordinate with main contractors and consultants regarding project milestones and progress updates. - Maintain project documentation, baseline schedules, and progress records. - Support project managers in forecasting project completion dates and achieving contractual deadlines.
