Apply now » Title: Assistant Driller (Talent Pool) Job Job Location Rigs Reports to Rig Superintendent Job Purpose The Assistant Driller plays a vital role in supporting the Driller and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of drilling rigs. You will assist with operating and maintaining drilling equipment, including draw works, mud pumps, and rotating equipment. You also monitor well bore conditions, contributing to achieving well completion objectives according to drilling programs. You must follow rig specific procedures, and actively participate in safety briefings. You must adhere to all HSE regulations and work collaboratively with the rig crew. Key Tasks & Responsibilities Drilling Operations 1: Drilling Operations 2: Record Keeping & Reporting: Safety & Environment: Maintenance: Mud System: Equipment Management: Other Duties: Total Years of Experience (Minimum) 6 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Relevant Experience Basic understanding of drilling operations and equipment. Ability to perform manual labor tasks in a physically demanding environment. Experience working effectively as part of a team. Must have prior experience on rigs as Assistant Driller / Derrickman.
