About the role

What you'll do - Build the department: operating model, recruitment, placement desk, insurer partnership, and the templates and processes behind them. - Define the service standard — named account owners, turnaround times, escalation ladder, reporting cadence — and measure whether it is actually being delivered. - Own retention, reported as two numbers: premium retained and lives retained. - Run a renewal calendar that starts 120 days before expiry, backed by actuarial data rather than the insurer's word. - Act as final technical authority on benefit design, network tiering and placement strategy. - Govern the medical claims function — set standards and turnaround, leave clinical judgement to the physicians. - Ensure member registration and cover linkage with the regulator is right and on time, every time. What you'll bring - 5–10 years in medical and employee benefits insurance (broker, insurer), including 4+ years leading a team. - Deep knowledge of the Saudi framework: IA regulation, CHI requirements, the unified policy and essential benefits, member registration and eligibility, and claims exchange. - Leadership skills, - Strong data and actuarial literacy — able to build and defend a renewal position against an insurer's loading. - Experience building or rebuilding a servicing function, not only running an established one. - Bachelor's degree in business, finance, healthcare administration, actuarial science or a related field; CII or equivalent preferred. - Fluent Arabic and English.
