About the Role As an Assistant Manager, Special Events at Atlantis the Royal, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional events and memorable guest experiences. Supporting the day-to-day management of special events operations, you will oversee event setups, service delivery, and logistics, ensuring every function is executed seamlessly and to the highest luxury hospitality standards. Working closely with internal teams and event stakeholders, you will lead and motivate colleagues, coordinate operational requirements, and ensure all venues, equipment, and service areas are prepared for successful event execution. From intimate celebrations to large-scale events, you will be responsible for maintaining outstanding levels of service, operational excellence, and guest satisfaction. About You The ideal candidate brings 1–2 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or restaurant, with pre‑opening experience considered an advantage. You are outgoing, confident, and articulate, with strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Passionate about the food and beverage industry, you demonstrate energy, creativity, and a proactive “can‑do” mindset, while confidently engaging with peers and senior colleagues and empowering others to make informed decisions. You possess strong business administration skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, POS systems, and restaurant reservation platforms, along with sound P&L awareness, food and beverage cost control, inventory management experience, and a keen understanding of global market trends. 1–2 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or restaurant; pre-opening experience considered an advantage. Strong communication skills, ability to work under pressure, energy, creativity, proactive mindset, and ability to engage with peers and senior colleagues. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, POS systems, and restaurant reservation platforms.
