Construction Engineer - Mechanical We are hiring Construction Engineers (Mechanical) with proven experience in the oil and gas sector. The role involves managing Mechanical construction activities at the project site, ensuring that all work is executed in compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, industry standards, and safety requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee and supervise site execution of Mechanical construction activities. - Ensure mechanical works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards. - Review technical drawings, construction methodologies, and vendor documentation. - Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution. - Monitor construction progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure compliance with HSE and quality requirements. - Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to approved work procedures and schedules. - Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and communicate project updates to the project management team. Qualification / Experience (Skills): - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. - Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in Oil & Gas (5) years in GCC region. - Must have at least Five (5) years of experience in similar position for international major Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects - Experience with major onshore projects. - Strong understanding of industry codes, standards, and best practices. - Hands-on experience with field instruments, DCS, PLCs, and control systems. - Good leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills #LI-JM1 Location UAE - Abu Dhabi Job Family Engineering Type of Contract Fixed Term Contract Full/Part time Full Time Region (current) Middle East Closing Date 30/09/2026 Ref No 16385
