Construction Superintendent (Mechanical)

Construction Superintendent (Mechanical) Penspen is hiring experienced Construction Superintendent (Mechanical) Site based in Abu Dhabi with extensive oil & gas experience to oversee field construction activities for oil and gas projects. The successful candidate will ensure mechanical work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with project specifications and quality standards. Key Responsibilities - Supervise mechanical construction, including piping, equipment installation, fabrication, and testing. - Coordinate subcontractors, crews, materials, and equipment. - Enforce HSE requirements and conduct daily safety meetings. - Monitor progress, quality, productivity, and project schedules. - Review drawings, specifications, method statements, and work packages. - Coordinate inspections, pre-commissioning, and system handover. - Provide daily reports and resolve field issues promptly. Qualifications & Experience - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. or related discipline is mandatory - 17+ years of relevant experience in the oil & gas sector - 5 years in GCC region - 5 years of experience in similar position - Extensive experience in Oil & Gas pipeline - Experience in EPC/EPCM project environments - In-depth understanding of HSE requirements and industry codes/standards - Proven leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills #LI-JM1 Location UAE - Abu Dhabi Job Family Project Management Type of Contract Fixed Term Contract Full/Part time Full Time Region (current) Middle East Closing Date 30/09/2026 Ref No 16373
