Native English -Speech Therapist

- Write an individualized speech plan that targets students’ weaknesses. Indicate methods, strategies and evaluation procedure in the IEP. - Work with a team (collaborate with colleagues) to design, plan and provide an excellent collaborative learning environment. - Provide home programs for parents to support their children in the learning process. - Provide one on one speech therapy lessons using effective strategies. - Ensure therapy area is kept clean and safe prior to and following sessions by ensuring materials are put back in their original locations. - Ensure student’s kid book is kept organized and updated, by ensuring data sheets and program description inside the book. - Monthly reports and planned IEP to be submitted to parent’s on time. - Communicate with parents on a daily basis through the communication book. Provide daily feedback and tips to be reinforced at home. - Collaborate with schools and meet with teachers to provide accommodations and modifications for students. - Abide by all CARF standards - Use of technology (Microsoft Teams, Emails, Planner, One drive, Zoom, etc..) - Abide by all instructions and guidelines issued by the employer that are in the best interests of the center and its policies as dictated by the employer alone.

Communicate with parents daily through the communication book, providing feedback and home reinforcement tips. Collaborate with schools and meet with teachers to provide accommodations and modifications for students. Adhere to CARF standards. Use technology (Microsoft Teams, Email, Planner, OneDrive, Zoom, etc.). Follow all employer instructions and policies in the best interests of the center.
