Role: Employee Engagement Senior Specialist Location: Abu Dhabi Role purpose: The Employee Engagement Senior Specialist plays a key role in shaping and delivering an organization’s well-being, working alongside operational managers to create a healthy, supportive workplace. This position combines analytic capabilities and hands-on expertise for ensuring that wellbeing initiatives are both effective and aligned with strategic goals. Key accountabilities of the role: Review and Oversee Charity Related requests on HR systems for the documents required and control the employee’s profile requirements and documents validation: Oversee gathering employee data, build the case summary and analyze the charity-related documents to make sure all required information is valid, updated and available for final review by the charity committee secretary for final consideration. Screen all Institutions who approach charity committees for getting charitable support for AML & sanctions, control the institution for being profitable and/or non-profitable, and gather/validate information on institutions’ board members. Short-list the ready requests with the proper bookkeeping to share with the charity committee. Raise any concerns of data manipulation. Oversee Charity account transactions Execute the charity committee’s decisions: Make sure all information is updated and registered properly to execute the payment as financial control related policies and procedures. Responsible for conducting staff well-related draws and raffles: Prepare the Memo or email for required approvals to initiate new draw. Make sure eligibility criteria are well defined and control Data extraction and preparation. Oversee Draw set up. Oversee conducting the raffle. Announcing the winners Oversee distributing gifts and rewards. Running Umra Trip Program: Take all related approvals as per related policies and procedures. Oversee vendor Sourcing Process. Sending Announcements. Overseeing and controlling data preparation as per eligibility criteria to enter the draw. Overseeing conducting the draw. Communicate with staff and make sure the seats are filled properly, execute with back up and prepare the final list of confirmed staff with their confirmation are well booked. Overseeing all arrangements related to trip bookings confirmation, assembly points are well communicated, and visa requirements are all done as requested). Conducting staff satisfaction report. Turnover Quarterly report preparation and analysis for FTEs and OS: Review the Turnover data summary and Employee experience survey results and oversee reflecting them on the turnover analysis report at beginning of each quarter for the quarter before, or upon required. Review the turnover/employee experience report summary with the required actions on quarterly basis Request. Contact employees for their feedback upon required. Provide insights and recommendations to management based on data analysis to enhance retention and employee experience. Responsible for conducting initiatives and campaigns for staff wellbeing: Implement, and evaluate wellbeing programs and initiatives that address mental, physical, and emotional health needs across the organization. Providing expert guidance on best practices, policy development, and legislation related to employee wellbeing. Implementing wellbeing campaigns, workshops, support training programs to foster engagement and raise awareness. Ensuring diversity & inclusion, and Health & Safety in all wellbeing initiatives. Work across all departments and at all levels to ensure logistics, administration requirements, key messages are delivered in line with strategy. Well-being data collection and analysis, producing reports for further review and enhancements. Coach and mentor for health and wellbeing, act as ambassadors across the organization, building a network of peer support. Assist in crisis management situations, providing rapid response and compassionate support for affected staff. Develop and maintain strong communications with key groups to ensure maximum employee engagement. Executing regular employee health assessments including height, weight, body fat %, blood pressure, cholesterol levels, and other factors that affect health risks. Taking part in organizing internal events as family activities, national day, Emirati women’s Day and ensure the link and elements to staff wellbeing. Communicate with national and international entities with high interest in staff (Travel agencies – Real estate – Health care provider) to benefits and discounts. Overseeing running Staff Competitions: Develop creative engagement campaigns and reward programs that enhance staff morale and participation. S
Key accountabilities of the role include: reviewing and overseeing charity-related requests on HR systems, validating employee data and documents, overseeing charity account transactions, executing charity committee decisions in line with financial controls, conducting staff draws and raffles with defined eligibility criteria and data preparation, managing the Umra Trip Program including vendor sourcing, approvals, visa requirements, and bookings; conducting staff satisfaction reports; preparing quarterly turnover and employee experience analyses; providing insights to improve retention and employee experience; leading staff wellbeing initiatives, policy development, and compliance related to wellbeing including diversity & inclusion and health & safety; coordinating wellbeing campaigns, training, and communication across departments; collecting and analyzing wellbeing data and producing reports; coaching and mentoring on health and wellbeing; assisting in crisis management; developing stakeholder communications to maximize engagement; organizing internal events and employee benefits discussions; conducting health assessments and organizing related activities; overseeing staff competitions and engagement campaigns.
