To support the development, implementation, and monitoring of ADNOC Gas\u2019s ESG strategy and initiatives. The role ensures alignment with international sustainability standards and ADNOC Group\u2019s corporate objectives, contributing to integrating environmental, social, and governance considerations within our operations, responsible business practices and stakeholder engagement. \u2022 Assist in the design and rollout of ESG frameworks, policies, and performance metrics. \u2022 Monitor ESG compliance across business units and support internal audits and reporting. \u2022 Conduct ESG risk assessments and contribute to mitigation planning. \u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ESG into operational and strategic decision-making. \u2022 Prepare ESG disclosures and reports in line with GRI, SASB, and ADNOC standards and the latest sustainability disclosure standards and best practices. \u2022 Support stakeholder engagement activities, including community outreach and advocacy. \u2022 Track global ESG trends, industry trends, regulations, emerging technologies related to sustainability and recommend improvements to ADNOC Gas\u2019s sustainability practices. \u2022 Plan and conduct materiality assessment exercise, peer benchmarking and stakeholder engagement \u2022 Implement company's ESG strategy, monitor and report on agreed performance indicators \u2022 Develop and implement ESG guidelines, checklists, policies, procedures, and other related programs to promote sustainable practices and mitigate negative impacts \u2022 Engage with external assurance of the annual sustainability report \u2022 Engage in ESG rating performance assessment and assist to implement improvement action plan based on gap analysis result \u2022 Design and implement capacity building and awareness programs to employees on ESG topics to foster a culture of sustainability mindset throughout the organization. \u2022 Report on ESG performance indicators, including greenhouse gas emissions, energy consumption, waste management, and community engagement. \u2022 Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, regulators, and local communities, to build relationships and communicate the company's ESG efforts. \u2022 Assist in investor and ESG related activities, as required, including preparing presentations, organising conferences, roadshows, industry events, media engagements and etc relevant to ESG \u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree in Environmental Science, Social Sciences, Engineering, or a related field \u2022 A master's degree is preferred. \u2022 8 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, preferably in a large organization within the gas processing or energy industry, including at least \u2022 In depth knowledge of the global, regional and local ESG/Sustainability and Decarbonization standards for example but not limited to GRI, SASB, TCFD, ISSB, GHG Protocol etc. \u2022 Familiarity with ESG rating methodologies and frameworks (e.g., MSCI, Sustainalytics) \u2022 Strong understanding of materiality concepts and experience in conducting materiality assessments. \u2022 Knowledge of company\u2019s business and operations, and ability to lead the delivery of tailored solutions in line with specific business requirements. \u2022 Familiarity with relevant environmental regulations and reporting requirements such as EHS, etc. \u2022 Sound understanding of UAE community and best practices \u2022 ESG frameworks and international standards (IFC, EBRD, ADB, IDB). \u2022 Social Impact Assessment and stakeholder engagement planning. \u2022 Corporate sustainability reporting and performance tracking. \u2022 Strong analytical and strategic thinking. \u2022 Excellent communication and report writing. \u2022 Ability to influence across multi-stakeholder environments. \u2022 Project management and cross-functional collaboration \u2022 Professional certifications in ESG or sustainability (e.g., CFI, ESG Specialization, GARP SCR, CESGA, GRI, CDP) are highly desirable. Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Social Sciences, Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred. 8 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, preferably in a large organization within the gas processing or energy industry.
