Drive lifecycle planning, automation, maintenance, and modernization of technical platforms. Strengthen data driven decision making through big data roadmap execution and structured reporting. Enhance operational performance through contractor oversight, system monitoring, and technical coordination across internal and external bodiesRoles and ResponsibilitiesStrategy• Implement policies, governance frameworks, and system improvements in coordination with CTSS (Corporate Technical Support Services) department• Plan, supervise, and implement lifecycle strategies for monitoring and support information systems and applications as per approved procedures.• Study, approve, and implement big data management roadmap projects to maximize value from enterprise data.• Lead financial and technical coordination with regulatory and external bodies to ensure alignment with authority requirements.Operations• Maintain and support monitoring and support systems of the PTA (Public Transport Authority) and report required improvements.• Ensure efficient system operations and performance reporting for all monitoring and support systems.• Coordinate technical support for infrastructure, systems, and monitoring programs with relevant departments.• Supervise installation, modernization, and removal of Bus Lane enforcement camera systems, accessories, and systems as per approved plans.• Ensure resolution of system complaints and suggestions and take actions in line with approved procedures.• Oversee and guide the team responsible for operational monitoring of solutions capturing in vehicle IVD data and e-hail trip data, monitoring of IVD SIM utilization, and ensuring accuracy, timely execution, reporting and alignment with organizational requirements.• Evaluate the Data quality and Data maturity in each application and aid in improving the same.• Collect the business requirements by conducting brainstorming sessions with different stakeholders (inside/outside department/agency).• Track and maintain all the official documents related to the reporting process and procedures.• Partner with ITD and other teams to manage data integration projects, ensuring seamless data flow across different systems and platforms• Act as Liaison between MSST and other sections in the department.• Participate and coordinate across all system supervision and support projects to ensure alignment with institutional needs.• Monitor contractor performance and identify operational gaps through field inspections.• Provide internal training to operations and technical teams on new system developments.• Prepare comprehensive progress and audit reports for section leadership.Product / Process Improvement• Study, design, and implement automation initiatives for internal processes and control/support systems.• Develop, implement, and monitor maintenance policies and procedures for monitoring and support systems.Physical Working Conditions• Primarily office-based role with limited site visits/ field inspection Qualifications Job Qualifications & RequirementsDiploma/Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree in engineering0-1 years in case of Master's degree (2+ years in case of Bachelor’s degree, 8+ years in case of diploma)Technical competenciesCore Data Analysis and ReportingIT Systems and Infrastructure Management Job Category: InfrastructureAdvertiser: Roads and Transport AuthorityDepartment: Transportation SystemsEducational-level: BachelorRequired Nationality: UAE Only Suitable for people with determination: NoMonthly Salary: UnspecifiedSchedule-Time: Full timeJob Posting: 02/11/2026Unposting Date: 03/12/2026
