Roles and ResponsibilitiesStrategyReview and provide inputs to sustainability elements of Corporate Health, Safety, & Sustainability Management System; align documents and actions with concerned units.Deliver sustainability strategic objectives and plans; monitor results and prepare periodic sustainability performance reports.Conduct sustainability studies, evaluations and benchmarks, including emerging technologies and Artificial Intelligence and recommend policy and process updates.Review sustainability priorities via the materiality-assessment process and contribute inputs to the annual sustainability report.OperationsProvide sustainability technical feedback on specifications, legislation and plans and issue documented recommendations.Prepare documentation for obtaining and renewing sustainability-related accreditations and certifications and assemble evidence for external auditors.Lead periodic coordination and consultation with agencies, sectors and stakeholders on sustainability policies and procedures; track agreed improvements.Lead external coordination to enhance the RTA’s sustainability role with councils, ministries and forums; represent the sustainability function as required.Manage and supervise sustainability audit and inspection programs; review non-conformities, verify corrective plans and issue status reports.Execute delegated or ad-hoc sustainability tasks from management to meet emerging needs.Product / Process Improvement Recommend sustainability process and reporting enhancements based on studies, materiality outcomes, audits and inspections and external assurance feedback. Physical Working ConditionsParticipate in on-site sustainability audits and inspections, meetings and external representation visits, including outside regular hours when required.
