Your Day to Day: As a Beach Lifeguard, you will ensure the safety and wellbeing of guests using the resort beach and swimming areas. You will continuously monitor water conditions and guest activities, enforce safety procedures, and respond promptly to emergencies while providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests. Some of your responsibilities are: • Monitor guests in the designated sea swimming and beach areas during operational hours, ensuring compliance with all beach safety rules and regulations. • Maintain a zero-drowning standard by continuously monitoring swimmers and assessing sea conditions, tides, weather, currents, and other potential safety risks. • Respond promptly to emergencies, performing sea-water rescues and providing first aid, CPR, AED, and spinal management as required. • Inspect the beach area and rescue equipment regularly to ensure they are safe, accessible, properly maintained, and ready for use. • Maintain and operate all rescue and emergency equipment correctly, ensuring it is safely stored and readily available at all times. • Report hazards, maintenance issues, accidents, and safety concerns immediately, while strictly adhering to hotel health, safety, hygiene, and emergency procedures. • Provide professional and friendly assistance to guests, promote safe swimming practices, and support a safe and enjoyable beach experience. • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.
