Lobby Hostess - InterContinental Abu Dhabi

We are currently looking for a warm, confident, and service-oriented Lobby Hostess to join our team and be part of creating exceptional first impressions for our guests. A little taste of your day-to-day: As a Lobby Hostess, you will be one of the first points of contact for our guests and an important ambassador for InterContinental Abu Dhabi. You will create a welcoming atmosphere in the lobby, assist guests with their needs, and work closely with the Front Office, Concierge, Guest Relations, and other hotel teams to ensure a seamless guest experience. • Welcoming and greeting guests warmly upon arrival and throughout their stay. • Maintaining a visible and approachable presence in the hotel lobby. • Assisting guests with general enquiries, directions, hotel facilities, restaurants, and services. • Recognizing returning guests, VIPs, and IHG One Rewards members and supporting the delivery of personalized experiences. • Anticipating guest needs and proactively offering assistance whenever required. • Supporting the arrival and departure experience, particularly during busy periods. • Coordinating closely with Front Office, Concierge, Bell Desk, Guest Relations, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and other departments to respond to guest requests. • Providing guests with information about hotel facilities, dining options, promotions, events, and local attractions. • Assisting guests with restaurant enquiries and reservations when required. • Handling guest feedback and concerns professionally and ensuring they are communicated to the appropriate team member for prompt follow-up. • Ensuring the lobby and guest-facing areas remain welcoming, organized, and presentable at all times. • Paying attention to guest preferences and special occasions to help create thoughtful and memorable experiences. • Supporting VIP arrivals, group movements, special events, and other hotel activities when required. • Maintaining professional grooming and presentation standards at all times. • Demonstrating IHG values through positive, genuine, and professional interactions with guests and colleagues. What we need from you: • Previous experience in a guest-facing role within a luxury hotel or hospitality environment. • Experience in Front Office, Guest Relations, Concierge, or a similar position would be an advantage. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • A warm, confident, ap
