Assistant/Associate Professor in Petroleum Engineering - Chemical & Petroleum Eng.

The Chemical and Petroleum Engineering Department (CPE) at the United Arab Emirates University invites applications for a full-time Assistant/Associate Professor position in Petroleum Engineering with specialization in Petroleum Production Engineering. All engineering programs, including the Petroleum Engineering, are accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) and The Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) of the UAE. The successful candidate will join a dynamic and collaborative team committed to excellence in teaching, research, and service. Grade: 21.

Applicants must have an earned doctorate in the applicable field. The ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses is a must. Industrial and professional experience is a plus. Preferred qualifications: • A Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering, or a closely related field. • Demonstrated expertise and a strong publication record in Petroleum Production Engineering or related areas. • Evidence of teaching excellence or potential at the undergraduate and graduate levels. • A proven ability or potential to secure research funding from internal and external sources. • Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.

Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Petroleum Engineering; conduct research in Petroleum Production Engineering; publish results in peer-reviewed venues; seek external research funding; contribute to service and leadership within the department and university.
