We are looking for an experienced Marine Inspector to support our marine and infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. Responsibilities: Inspect and monitor marine construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements. Inspect marine works including reclamation, dredging, rock placement, revetments, breakwaters, seawalls, marine edge protection, and marine structures. Monitor installation and construction of marine structures, including piles, precast elements, concrete works, and protection systems. Inspect rock materials, armour rock, riprap, rockfill, and other materials used for marine works. Verify line, level, alignment, dimensions, and placement of marine works. Witness required field and laboratory testing and review relevant test results and quality records. Review Inspection Requests (IRs), method statements, material approvals, and technical submissions related to marine works. Monitor marine construction activities and identify defects, non-conforming works, and site issues. Coordinate with the Contractor, Marine Engineer, Geotechnical Engineer, Surveyor, Diver, and other site teams. Support underwater inspection activities and coordinate with diving teams where required. Monitor marine plant, equipment, and construction activities to ensure they follow approved procedures. Maintain daily inspection reports, photographs, records, and relevant quality documentation. Follow up on corrective actions and ensure non-conforming works are properly addressed. Requirements: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline. Relevant experience in marine construction inspection and supervision . Experience in marine and infrastructure projects . Good knowledge of reclamation, dredging, rock placement, revetments, breakwaters, seawalls, marine edge protection, and marine structures. Experience with marine construction materials, testing, inspection procedures, and quality control. Ability to read and understand marine construction drawings and specifications. UAE experience on major marine or infrastructure projects is preferred. Good communication and reporting skills.
