Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of hotel facilities, equipment, and systems. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimize disruption to hotel operations. Monitor electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems. Conduct regular inspections and ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently. Coordinate and follow up on maintenance requests and work orders. Respond to emergencies and breakdowns and take appropriate corrective action. Ensure all engineering activities comply with safety standards, hotel procedures, and local regulations. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs. Coordinate with other hotel departments and external contractors when required. Support and guide Engineering team members during daily operations. Ensure engineering workshops, tools, and work areas are clean, organized, and safe. Contribute to maintaining a comfortable, safe, and well-maintained environment for guests and Heartists.
Your experience and skills include: Diploma or technical qualification in Engineering or a related field. Previous experience in a similar engineering role, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment. Good knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and building systems. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good communication and team coordination skills. Proactive, reliable, and safety-conscious approach to work. Ability to work independently and under pressure. Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
