Massage Therapist

Mövenpick Hotel Waad Al Shamal Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and professional Massage Therapist to provide high-quality massage and wellness treatments to clients. The Massage Therapist will assess clients’ needs, recommend suitable treatments, perform various massage techniques, and ensure a safe, comfortable, and relaxing experience while maintaining professional standards and hygiene. Key Responsibilities Consult with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and any relevant physical concerns. Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, aromatherapy, relaxation, and other treatments according to qualifications. Customize treatments based on each client’s requirements and comfort level. Maintain a clean, hygienic, and welcoming treatment environment. Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all equipment, linens, oils, and supplies are properly maintained. Follow health, safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times. Maintain client confidentiality and professional boundaries. Provide appropriate after-treatment care instructions and wellness recommendations. Monitor clients’ comfort throughout the treatment and adjust techniques when necessary. Maintain accurate treatment records where required. Communicate professionally with clients and other spa or wellness team members. Promote available spa services and products when appropriate. Report any equipment issues, incidents, or client concerns to management. Attend training and maintain professional knowledge and certifications.

Relevant certification or diploma in Massage Therapy, Spa Therapy, or a related field. Previous experience as a Massage Therapist is preferred. Knowledge of different massage techniques and their appropriate applications. Strong understanding of hygiene, sanitation, and client safety procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Professional appearance, attitude, and behavior. Ability to maintain client confidentiality and professional boundaries. Good physical stamina and ability to stand and perform massage treatments for extended periods. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays when required.
