Senior Mechanical Engineer

Senior Mechanical Engineer with strong experience in infrastructure projects, specializing in pump stations, lifting stations, drainage systems, and associated mechanical works. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage mechanical works for pump stations, lifting stations, drainage facilities, and infrastructure projects. Oversee installation of pumps, valves, pipework, mechanical equipment, actuators, penstocks, screens, and associated systems. Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, ITPs, RFIs, and technical submissions. Coordinate mechanical works with civil, electrical, instrumentation, and SCADA systems. Supervise testing, commissioning, performance testing, and final acceptance of mechanical systems. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, designers, and stakeholders to resolve technical and construction issues. Ensure mechanical works comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality requirements, and applicable standards. Support handover and closeout, including O&M manuals, as-built drawings, testing records, and asset documentation.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. 10+ years of relevant experience in mechanical infrastructure projects. Strong experience in pump stations and lifting stations. Experience with pumps, valves, pipework, mechanical equipment, and associated systems. Strong knowledge of installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems. Experience working with infrastructure contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders. Good knowledge of QA/QC, HSE, technical documentation, and construction procedures. Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. UAE/GCC infrastructure experience is preferred.
