Inspector - Electrical

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inspector - Electrical Building Construction to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive electrical inspections on building construction projects, ensuring full compliance with local and international electrical codes and safety standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety on all construction sites. Conduct thorough electrical inspections at various stages of building construction projects, including rough-in, trim-out, and final inspections Verify compliance with UAE electrical codes, international standards (IEC), and project specifications Inspect electrical systems, components, and installations including wiring, panels, circuits, grounding systems, and safety devices Test electrical systems using appropriate equipment and document all findings in detailed inspection reports Identify code violations, deficiencies, and non-compliance issues and communicate findings to project managers and contractors Recommend corrective actions and verify that identified issues are resolved to specification Maintain organized and accurate inspection records, documentation, and photographic evidence Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and project teams to ensure timely resolution of electrical concerns Ensure all work sites adhere to safety protocols and electrical safety regulations Prepare comprehensive inspection reports and maintain detailed records for project files and regulatory compliance Stay current with changes in electrical codes, building standards, and industry best practices

Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical building construction inspection or related field Diploma or degree required in Electrical Engineering
