The Associate - Cost Management is responsible for the successful delivery of projects across the full spectrum of cost management activities, operating with minimal supervision while leading and mentoring a team. This role plays a key part in client engagement, project execution, and commercial performance across a portfolio of projects. Key Responsibilities: Lead the delivery of multiple projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and organisational standards. Manage project services using Workbench and other relevant systems to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Function as Project Manager on up to three active projects, overseeing scope, schedule, and budget. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure client approval for any scope changes or additional work, maintaining transparency and contractual compliance. Brief and guide project teams to ensure clear understanding of roles, responsibilities, and project scopes. Monitor and manage the performance of direct reports, providing mentorship and development opportunities to support their growth. Allocate and manage resources effectively across large or multiple smaller projects within budget constraints. Ensure timely cash collection in accordance with contract terms. Benchmark project data to support cost planning and value engineering. Maintain accountability for project deliverables and financial performance. Ensure all project deliverables comply with internal Project Delivery Standards (PDS) and quality assurance protocols. Adhere to all QA requirements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field. 8+ years post graduate experience on Masterplanning or Infrastructure projects. MRICS accredited, or working towards.
