• Under direct supervision, performs basic and routine duties in a wide range of environmental, health and safety disciplines to achieve compliance with the ES&H standards along with federal and state regulatory requirements. • Assists in the development, implementation and maintenance of safety and health programs, systems and procedures. • Assists in monitoring hazards and diseases that could be present in the work area. • Works with others to investigate accidents, injuries and complaints concerning hazards in the workplace. • Participates in recommending improvement in processes, design, procedures and equipment to minimize hazards. • Participates in employee training, emergency preparedness and assures the quality of programs.
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related discipline. Minimum 7 years of HSE experience in major infrastructure construction projects. Mandatory experience in Tunneling Works (TBM, NATM, Cut & Cover, or similar methods). Mandatory experience in Viaduct / Elevated Structure Construction . Previous experience in High-Speed Rail, Railway, Metro, or Rail Infrastructure Projects is essential. Strong knowledge of HSE legislation, risk assessment, and permit-to-work systems. Proficiency in incident investigation and hazard identification techniques.
