What You'll Be Doing: - BIM Model Development- Create and update 3D BIM models for wet utility systems using Civil 3D, or other BIM software. - Model potable water, irrigation, stormwater and sewerage networks. - Develop utility structures such as manholes, chambers, valve chambers, tanks, and pump stations. - Maintain model accuracy in line with design revisions. - Drawing Production- Generate plans & profiles from BIM models. - Ensure drawings comply with project CAD and BIM standards. - Coordination Support- Participate in multidisciplinary coordination activities. - Assist in identifying and resolving clashes with roads, structures, buildings, landscape, and dry utilities. - Update models based on coordination comments and approved design changes. - Quality Assurance- Follow BIM Execution Plan (BEP), project standards, and company procedures. - Perform model checks to ensure consistency, completeness, and accuracy. - Ensure proper naming conventions, folder structures, and data management practices are maintained. - Documentation and Deliverables- Prepare model submissions according to project milestones. - Maintain records of model revisions and updates. - Typical Deliverables- 3D BIM Models - Utility Plans and Profiles - Clash Resolution Updates - As-Built Models What Required Skills You'll Bring: - Autodesk Civil 3D - Navisworks - AutoCAD - Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / BIM 360 - InfraWorks (preferred) - Dynamo (preferred) What Desired Skills You'll Bring: - Strong understanding of wet utility infrastructure. - Ability to interpret engineering drawings and design specifications. - Good communication and teamwork skills. - Problem-solving and coordination abilities. - Knowledge of BIM standards and project workflows. Create and update 3D BIM models for wet utility systems using Civil 3D or other BIM software; Model and integrate potable water, irrigation, stormwater and sewerage networks; Develop and model utility structures such as manholes, chambers, valve chambers, tanks, and pump stations; Produce drawings from BIM models; Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams; Identify and resolve clashes; Follow BEP and project standards; Conduct model quality checks; Maintain data management practices; Prepare model submissions and maintain revision history; Deliver 3D BIM Models, Utility Plans and Profiles, Clash Resolution Updates, and As-Built Models.
