Senior Construction Manager (Quality - Infrastructure)

Job Description Overview The Senior Construction Manager (Quality) will oversee and coordinate all on-site activities for high end infra project ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with design specifications and quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and effective communication with project stakeholders. Your role - Plan, organize, and manage construction activities from a quality persepctive for mega infra and hevy civils project - Supervise site operations, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards. - Coordinate with engineers, architects, surveyors, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution. - Monitor progress and resolve technical or operational issues on-site. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards. - Review and approve construction drawings, specifications, and work plans. - Conduct regular site inspections to verify workmanship and materials. - Prepare progress reports and communicate updates to senior management. - Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services. - Oversee cost control, resource allocation, and risk management. - Implement corrective measures for delays, defects, or non-compliance. About you - Bachelor’s/master’s degree in civil engineering or construction management. - Proven experience of 20 years in managing quality on high end infra projects - Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards and quality control - Proficiency in project management software and MS Office. - Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications. - Excellent leadership and team management skills. - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. - Effective communication and negotiation skills. - Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality. - Time management skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Architecture discipline from a recognized University. Professional qualifications like PMP, PRINCE2 etc. 20+ years post qualification experience in Project Management & Delivery of mega infrastructure projects in KSA. Demonstrated track record of infrastructure projects delivery. Experience with PMC companies as well as large contractors. Significant experience in supervising the construction of complex projects similar in size and nature to our project.

Ensure the successful delivery of the project in terms of progress, quality and cost budgetary constraints. Review & approval of Technical documents submitted by the Developer to the Client and ascertain if they comply with Project Specifications. Monitoring the project deliverables meet with the agreed standards and satisfy stakeholder requirements at each stage of the project. Monitoring overall project stakeholder relationships and adjusting strategies and plans for engaging stakeholders. Develop and establish the policies, procedures, and documentation for planning, developing, managing, executing, and controlling the project schedule, including monitoring project tasks and workflows in order to complete the project on schedule. Identify and document specific actions including establishing milestone to be performed to produce the project deliverables. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and documentation for planning, managing, expending, and controlling project costs. Identifying issues that impact the project and managing them through to resolution. Develop a robust change control system by setting a project baseline and identifying, reviewing, approving and monitoring proposed changes to the project scope. Development of a detailed specification based on the design guideline provided to developer.
