Job Description Overview AtkinsRéalis are currently looking for experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team to work on newly awarded projects across varying sectors and various locations within UAE This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing team on high profile projects within in UAE. Your role - Experience in one of the following key sectors: hospitality, residential, buildings, infrastructure etc. - Must have consultant and/or client background for minimum of 4 years. - Knowledge in the use of QS software Cost X or similar is required. - Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. - Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills. About you - Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field. - 8–12 years of experience, with at least 5 years on government or major UAE programs. - Proven capability in remeasure contracts, cost control, and valuation of site-wide works. - Strong commercial and contractual understanding, particularly with variations and change workflows. - Understanding of WIR/MIR processes and their impact on cost and progress validation. - Strong analytical, measurement, and reporting skills. - Proficiency in measurement tools (CostX, Planswift, etc.) and MS Excel. - Experience on giga-projects or large-scale infrastructure developments is an advantage. - Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, multi discipline environment. Your role includes: - Demonstrate experience in hospitality, residential, buildings, infrastructure sectors. - Maintain consultant and/or client background for a minimum of 4 years. - Utilise CostX or similar QS software for measurement, quantity take-offs and reporting. - Exhibit strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. - Maintain good project background and demonstrate English language technical writing ability and skills. - Manage remeasurement contracts, cost control, and valuation of site-wide works. - Apply strong commercial and contractual understanding, especially with variations and change workflows. - Understand WIR/MIR processes and their impact on cost and progress validation. - Perform robust measurement, analysis, and reporting; proficient in MS Excel. - Experience with giga-projects or large-scale infrastructure developments is an advantage. - Coordinate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-disciplined environment.
