Information Manager

Job Description Overview AtkinsRéalis Business is hiring an experienced Information Manager for our Middle east delivery team. This person will be carrying out a mix of functions that span from internal process improvements to supporting project delivery. The successful candidate should be a people, process, technology focused individual whose job will be to ensure our project delivery teams adhere to standards and the best industry methods. The candidate will also actively support project teams on proposal and project delivery tasks. Your role - A thorough understanding of the data, information management and BIM including compliance to ISO 19650 standards. - Sound knowledge in engineering design and to assist design team in Self/Inter disciplinary services coordination, quality compliance etc. - Expert knowledge of BIM authoring tools from various software providers such as Autodesk, Bentley in delivery of multi-disciplinary projects. - Expert knowledge of BIM federation and co-ordination platforms such as Revizto, for clash detection and resolution, model walkthrough and issue tracking and management. - Expert knowledge of Common Data Environment (CDE) such as Autodesk Forma and ProjectWise. - Knowledge of data visualization platforms such as PowerBI. - Knowledge of automation tools such as Dynamo. - Knowledge of data management platforms such as SmartSheet - Experience on information management/BIM uses such as construction sequencing, quantity take-offs, virtual reality, augmented reality, etc. - Strong ability to develop technical documentation for Information Management. - Experienced in implementation, training and utilization of Information Management tools from Autodesk, Bentley, Trimble etc. - Effective communication, coordination and collaboration skills. - Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Job duties - As an Information Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our digital content is produced, stored, shared and exploited using the latest technologies and practices as agreed by the business. - Develop Information Management documents e.g. Pre- and Post-BEP, federation strategy, Level Of Information Need, responsibility matrix etc. - Ensure internal and external capability and capacity processes are implemented and followed. - Administer AtkinsRealis’ MIDP Online Tool. - Administer AtkinsRealis’ CDE (Autodesk Forma) and support project team in utilization of CDE. - Perform multidisciplinary clash detection, identification, grouping and support in assignment and resolution of clashes. - Undertake the functions of effective information management as part of the team in accordance with ISO 19650 throughout our projects' lifecycles, where AtkinsRéalis are either the Lead Appointed Party or an Appointed Party. - Ensure that the following are properly implemented and applied by the delivery team:- BIM execution plan - Information Exchange Processes - Self-disciplinary co-ordination workflows including clash matrixes - Check and review processes (both technical and quality) for deliverables utilizing digital tools - File naming convention for deliverables and process for updating status and revision codes in compliance with ISO 19650 - LOD / LOI to be generated in BIM Models across stages in the project lifecycle - Support auditing task teams in the delivery of their Task Information Delivery Plans, to meet the Appointing Parties Requirements. - Support strategic global and regional digital initiatives. - Support/lead ISO certification and its continuance globally for AtkinsRealis. - Support the Information Management Lead regarding all required tasks. - Provide technical advice on software and technology involved in the delivery of projects to the BIM processes and workflows. About you - Master/bachelor’s degree in architectural or civil engineering and 8+ years’ experience in AEC industry, minimum 3 years’ experience in Middle East region. - 5+ years’ experience in digital delivery of complex, multidisciplinary project (Information Management/BIM). - Information Management certification by a relevant institution e.g. BRE, Operam Academy, RICS etc. - Software certification such as Revizto, Revit, Civil3D etc. is desirable. Master or Bachelor’s degree in architectural or civil engineering. 8+ years’ experience in the AEC industry (minimum 3 years in the Middle East). 5+ years’ experience in digital delivery of complex, multidisciplinary projects (Information Management/BIM). Information Management certification by a relevant institution (e.g., BRE, Operam Academy, RICS). Software certification such as Revizto, Revit, Civil3D is desirable.

Ensure digital content is produced, stored, shared and exploited using current technologies and practices. Develop Information Management documents (Pre- and Post-BEP, federation strategy, Level Of Information Need, responsibility matrix). Implement and monitor capability and capacity processes. Administer MIDP Online Tool and CDE (Autodesk Forma) and support project teams in using the CDE. Perform multidisciplinary clash detection and assist in clash resolution. Apply ISO 19650-aligned information management across project lifecycles where AtkinsRéalis is Lead Appointed Party or Appointed Party. Ensure BIM Execution Plan, Information Exchange Processes, self-disciplinary coordination workflows, and review processes are implemented for deliverables. Maintain file naming conventions and revision status in line with ISO 19650. Generate LOD/LOI in BIM models across project stages. Support task teams in delivering Task Information Delivery Plans. Support global/regional digital initiatives and ISO certification activities. Provide technical advice on software and technology for BIM processes.
