Resident Engineer - Roads

WSP International LLC – Qatar Branch is seeking a Resident Engineer – Roads for the T&I‑04 QA GEC Supervision department. The role will oversee day‑to‑day supervision and delivery of road and related infrastructure works on an upcoming Ashghal GEC Framework project, guaranteeing that all construction activities meet approved drawings, specifications, contractual obligations, and Ashghal quality requirements.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Professional Engineer (PE) registration preferred Education shall be  obtained from North America , Europe , Australia or equivalent university  Minimum 15 years of experience in road construction supervision, preferably on large‑scale infrastructure projects in Qatar. In‑depth knowledge of Ashghal specifications, Qatar construction codes, and international road design standards. Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in English (Arabic is a plus). Demonstrated experience with quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) processes and documentation. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and Microsoft Office suite. Ability to work on-site in challenging environments and travel as required. Excellent problem‑solving skills and the capacity to make decisions under pressure. Valid Qatar work permit or eligibility to obtain one. MMUP Registration is mandatory
