Assistant Resident Engineer - CIVIL (33/11 kV brick-built primary substations )

WSP Middle East is seeking a dynamic Assistant Resident Engineer Civil will be responsible to support on overseeing and managing electrical engineering projects within the ADDC or AADC domain. They will play a pivotal role in ensuring that projects are executed according to specifications, on time, and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. A Master's Degree is an advantage. Proven experience as an Assistant Resident Engineer (Civil), Civil Engineer, or Site Civil Engineer on large infrastructure, utilities, or construction projects. Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, construction methodologies, and site supervision practices. Experience in monitoring contractor performance, reviewing technical submittals, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards. Proficiency in engineering and project management software and related tools. Dynamic and proactive approach with the ability to identify innovative solutions and improve work processes without compromising quality or project requirements. Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams. Good knowledge of UAE local authority requirements, as well as relevant international construction codes, regulations, and industry standards.
