Senior Consultant – Fire & Life Safety

WSP in the Middle East is seeking a Senior Consultant – Fire & Life Safety to join our team in the UAE. In this role, you will provide Fire & Life Safety consultancy services for a wide range of complex and large-scale projects across the region. You will be responsible for developing fire and life safety strategies, undertaking technical reviews, and engaging with clients, authorities, and project stakeholders to ensure compliance with applicable local and international codes and standards, including IBC, NFPA, BS, UAE Fire & Life Safety Code, SBC and other relevant regulations.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Fire Safety Engineering, Fire Engineering, or a closely related discipline Pursuing professional license and/or certifications in fire protection (PE, CEng, CFPS or equivalent) are highly desirable. 08-12 years of experience in fire life safety/protection engineering consulting.  Knowledge of UAE building codes, international codes, and standards (SBC, IBC, NFPA, BS, and others). Experience in fire protection design, fire detection and alarm systems, smoke control systems, risk assessments, and compliance audits.  Effective communication and leadership skills.
