The role has end-to-end accountability for strategic direction, proposition development, partnership growth, commercialization, capability development, and scalable delivery. It will identify where the organization can create differentiated customer and commercial value through digital ecosystems, embedded distribution, and innovative lending models. The role will translate strategic ambition into a coherent portfolio of opportunities, partnerships, propositions, and enabling capabilities, balancing regional consistency with local customer, commercial, regulatory, and operating requirements. The role will lead senior internal and external stakeholders and direct and matrix teams to build a sustainable regional business, establish scalable execution models, and deliver measurable customer, revenue, lending, and strategic outcomes. Key Result Areas: Define and evolve the regional BaaS Lending and Embedded Finance vision, target operating model, and long-term growth priorities. Identify and prioritize customer needs, ecosystems, use cases, and business models using market intelligence, competitive analysis, and financial assessment. Own the proposition portfolio from concept and business case through commercialization, scaling, optimization, and renewal. Develop reusable propositions, integration capabilities, implementation approaches, and market-entry playbooks that accelerate partner onboarding and expansion. Lead the ecosystem-partner lifecycle from strategic assessment and commercial alignment through activation, performance management, and relationship development. Develop sustainable monetization models and manage growth, revenue quality, unit economics, investment discipline, and value realization. Drive adoption through go-to-market execution, partner enablement, customer engagement, journey optimization, and data-led performance improvement. Establish objectives, performance measures, governance routines, and benefit tracking with clear accountability for outcomes. Ensure propositions are customer-centric, transparent, responsible, and aligned with applicable regulatory and organizational standards. Build and lead high-performing direct and matrix teams across markets, strengthening capability, succession, and commercial ownership. Represent the organization in senior partner engagements and relevant industry forums. Knowledge & Experience: 15+ years of relevant experience in banking, digital lending, embedded finance, BaaS, fintech, strategic partnerships, platform businesses, or adjacent financial-services roles, including senior leadership experience. Proven experience operating in regional or global roles and leading strategy, commercialization, capability development, and cross-functional execution across multiple markets. Demonstrated ability to define and execute multi-year strategies and translate them into funded roadmaps, operating models, organizational capabilities, commercial outcomes, and measurable enterprise value. Strong knowledge of consumer-lending value chains and the commercial, operational, customer, and risk considerations associated with digital and partner-led distribution. Demonstrated experience with partner-led customer journeys and scalable digital integration or platform models. Track record of leading the partnership lifecycle, including strategic assessment, business cases, commercial negotiation, onboarding, activation, governance, performance management, and scaling. Strong commercial acumen, with experience developing monetization models and managing revenue, growth, unit economics, investment cases, return on investment, and portfolio performance. Strong understanding of the regulatory, customer, data, security, third-party, and operational considerations relevant to digital lending and embedded finance. Ability to lead complex cross-functional execution across business, product, technology, operations, risk, compliance, legal, finance, data, marketing, customer experience, and market teams. Proven people and matrix leadership, including building teams, setting accountabilities, developing talent, and leading through influence across geographies and organizational boundaries.
