About the Role: As an AVP – Group Strategy & Corporate Development , you will play a key role in shaping and executing RAKBANK's strategic agenda. Working closely with the EVP & Head of Group Strategy & Corporate Development, you will drive enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, transformation programs, and business planning activities that support the Bank's long-term growth and performance. This is a high-impact opportunity for a commercially minded strategist who enjoys solving complex business challenges, influencing senior stakeholders, and delivering measurable business outcomes. What You'll Be Doing: Support the development and execution of RAKBANK's strategic roadmap and transformation agenda. Drive strategic planning activities and ensure alignment between corporate strategy, business plans, and execution priorities. Manage and monitor key bank-wide strategic initiatives and transformation programs. Conduct market, industry, competitor, and macroeconomic analysis to identify opportunities and risks. Develop business cases, financial models, and strategic recommendations for senior management. Support the annual strategic planning and budgeting process in partnership with Finance and business leaders. Track strategic performance, monitor KPIs, and recommend corrective actions where required. Prepare executive presentations, management reports, and committee materials. Collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to drive alignment and successful execution of strategic priorities. What We're Looking For: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. MBA or postgraduate qualification preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in Corporate Strategy, Management Consulting, Corporate Development, Banking, Financial Services, or a related field. Proven experience supporting strategic initiatives, transformation programs, and business planning activities. Strong track record of working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Experience within banking, financial services, consulting, or other highly analytical corporate environments. Solid understanding of business performance management, strategic planning, market analysis, and financial modelling.
