PMC Senior Construction Engineer (I&C)

Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced PMC Senior Construction Engineer (I&C)-Site based for one of our key clients in Abu Dhabi as part of our ADNOC Gas PMC team within our Oil, Gas & New Energies business. Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be full time site based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Ensure compliance with project specifications, international codes, and client requirements for all mechanical systems and installations. Monitor and control project costs and schedules for mechanical works, preventing overspending and ensuring timely delivery. Conduct regular inspections and quality checks on mechanical installations, equipment, and systems to meet project standards. Identify potential risks in mechanical construction activities, implement mitigation measures, and enforce strict safety protocols. Coordinate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and clients to align mechanical works with overall project objectives. Integrate eco-friendly practices in mechanical construction and ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability goals.

It will take all of us working together to deliver solutions to the world’s most critical challenges.  Expected: A bachelor’s degree in Instrument or Control or equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant experience in the offshore/onshore Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry, including minimum (5) years (preferred) in GCC region.  Must have at least five (5) years of experience in similar position for international major(more than 1Billion US$) Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.  Excellent leadership and communication skills (written and verbal) and an ability to work with people across a diversity of cultures
