PMC Senior Construction Superintendent - Civil

Wood is currently recruiting for Senior Construction Superintendents – Civil (3 Nos) to support the successful delivery of a major project within our Construction team. The successful candidates will provide field leadership and oversight for all civil construction activities, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and schedule requirements. The role requires extensive site-based construction experience, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in managing contractors and multidisciplinary construction teams on large-scale oil & gas, energy, petrochemical, or industrial projects.

Bachelor of Engineering in Civil. Minimum 15 years of experience within oil & gas, petrochemical, energy, infrastructure, or industrial projects., being in a similar role for at least 5 years Extensive experience supervising major civil construction works, including:   Site preparation and earthworks Excavation and trenching Reinforced concrete structures Foundations and equipment foundations Roads and paving works Drainage and underground utility systems Structural civil construction Strong knowledge of international civil engineering codes, standards, and construction best practices. Proven experience managing EPC contractors, subcontractors, and large site construction teams. Demonstrated commitment to HSE excellence and safe construction practices. Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, construction schedules, and quality requirements. Preferred Previous experience on large-scale greenfield and brownfield PMC projects in the Middle East. Experience working on ADNOC, major IOC, or EPC projects. Familiarity with construction management and digital project execution systems. Professional certifications in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Project Management. Experience supporting construction completion, handover, and commissioning phases.

Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, construction schedules, and quality requirements; monitor progress and resolve field issues to protect schedule and quality.
