The Role The LeadProject Engineer (Risk Management) - MEAC will provide specialist risk management support across the Middle East, Africa, and Caspian (MEAC) region, reporting directly to the Head of Risk - MEAC. Expected: We are looking for candidates who: Have experience solving engineering or construction delivery challenges on complex projects. Are naturally curious and comfortable questioning assumptions. Can understand how issues in one area of a project can affect cost, schedule, quality and project outcomes. Enjoy working with people from different disciplines and facilitating discussions. Are interested in developing specialist expertise in project risk management and quantitative risk analysis. Can communicate clearly and confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. We are not specifically seeking experienced risk practitioners. Prior experience in formal risk management, Cost Risk Analysis (CRA) or Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA) is not required. Instead, we are looking for experienced engineers with strong project delivery backgrounds, sound technical judgement, and the ability to identify and challenge project assumptions. Training and coaching will be provided to develop specialist expertise in project risk management, including qualitative risk assessment, Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA), Cost Risk Analysis (CRA) and Monte Carlo simulation. Candidates who are curious, analytical, and interested in understanding how engineering, construction and commercial uncertainties affect project outcomes are encouraged to apply.
