Cath Lab Nurses provide care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, including angiography, angioplasty, stenting, and interventional radiology. They perform continuous hemodynamic and ECG monitoring, administer medications, respond to cardiac emergencies, assist with vascular access and device deployment, and maintain sterile technique and radiation safety throughout procedures. They prepare patients both physically and psychologically by delivering clear education, reassurance, and emotional support to reduce anxiety and promote cooperation. They review laboratory results, allergies, current medications, and specific pre‑procedure requirements to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with clinical protocols.
Bachelor Degree in Nursing; or Associate degree in Nursing from Canada or USA with minimum two (2) years course duration and Successful completion of the National exam: ✓ USA: NCLEX - RN ✓ Canada: Licensing Exam DOH License or Eligibility Minimum two (2) years clinical experience post qualification
