Liquid Hydrogen Expert

Wood is recruiting for a Liquid Hydrogen Expert to join its Projects team focusing on delivering across FEED and Detail design scopes of work. In this role, you will be responsible to execute the activities and processes associated with Business Development of a Liquid Hydrogen opportunity, under Business Development scope. The expert shall possess excellent creative engineering and commercial skills, project and stakeholder management with strong leadership qualities, and with knowledge and experience in liquification and storage of cryogenic gases (such as LNG and Hydrogen) and conversion technologies with abilities to oversee the development Position is based in Oman for a long-term assignment.

Chemical Engineering Degree Up-to-date technical expertise and a solid record of project execution Previous experience with a range of different gas processing technologies Experienced in the execution of conceptual studies, optimisation work and front end engineering design stage of projects Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills, ability to manage own work and the work of others, plus a strong customer focus and team-working skills Readily adaptable with excellent communication skills Ability to analyse logical problems or problems with several obvious relationships, systematically break a complex task into more manageable parts and identify the critical components of a problem

Execute activities and processes associated with business development of a liquid hydrogen opportunity under the Business Development scope. Oversee the development related to liquification and storage of cryogenic gases (such as LNG and Hydrogen) and conversion technologies. Provide leadership in project and stakeholder management for FEED and detail design scopes, with focus on long-term assignment in Oman.
