Nord Anglia International School Al Khor (NAISAK) is a 3-18 through school with more than 1400+ pupils currently on roll. Primary is predominantly 4 form entry with approximately 750 students aged 3-11. Our school resides in the town of Al Khor, 35 minutes north of Doha (the capital of Qatar). We educate both local and expat students through a bespoke and engaging Primary curriculum which draws on the English National Curriculum as well as Qatar’s Ministry of Education curriculum. Demonstrate thorough curriculum knowledge, teach, and assess effectively, take responsibility for professional development, and ensure students achieve their potential. Job Responsibilities Learning and Teaching To promote the ‘mission’ and philosophy of the school, ensuring that children are working towards being truly bilingual international citizens. To ensure that planning, preparation, recording, assessment, and reporting are of the highest quality and meet the varying learning and social needs of children. To be flexible and adjust to the needs of the school, actively contributing to its development plans and growth. Implement agreed policies and developments. To demonstrate thorough curriculum knowledge, teach and assess effectively. Use the student tracking and monitoring processes to advance children’s learning and enhance professional practice in line with the school’s aspirations and priorities. To take personal responsibility for professional development. To effectively communicate the school’s narrative, being an ambassador for our school at all times.
