Danat Al Emarat is a world-class specialty women’s and children’s hospital in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. It offers advanced medical services across specialties including Neonatology, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Women’s Health. The hospital is one of the very few to encompass a dedicated Fetal Medicine Department along with a full-fledged Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in the UAE. This has established Danat Al Emarat as a regional referral center for women with high-risk pregnancies, supported by its Level III NICU providing care for the most fragile newborns. The Pediatric Outpatient Department (OPD) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality healthcare services to infants, children, and adolescents. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care, supporting physicians during consultations, and ensuring a safe, child-friendly environment for patients and their families. Responsibilities Provide nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents in an outpatient setting Assist paediatricians during examinations, procedures, and treatments Assess and record patient vital signs, medical history, and symptoms Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and readiness Educate parents and caregivers on child health, medications, and follow-up care Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols Qualifications Bachelors Science in Nursing Degree Valid DOH license
