Assistant Manager-Supply Chain & Logistics

Job Description Position: Assistant Manager- Supply Chain & Logistics (KSA) Department: Supply Chain & Logistics Country: Saudi Arabia Reports To: Country Manager Job Purpose: To support and manage day-to-day logistics, warehouse, distribution, inventory, and last-mile operations across KSA, ensuring efficient product movement, stock accuracy, timely deliveries, and high service levels across retail stores and online channels. The role will work closely with Supply Chain, Retail Operations, E-commerce, Commercial, Customer Service, and external logistics partners to improve operational efficiency and customer experience. Key Responsibilities • Manage daily logistics, warehouse, distribution, and delivery operations across KSA. • Coordinate with warehouse and supply chain teams to ensure timely receiving, storage, picking, transfers, and dispatch of products. • Monitor inventory levels and product availability across stores, warehouse, and online channels. • Ensure regular stock counts are completed and investigate and resolve stock variances, damages, and losses. • Monitor warehouse and distribution center performance and ensure efficient utilization of resources. • Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely last-mile delivery and achievement of agreed service levels. • Track delivery performance, pending orders, failed deliveries, returns, and customer-related logistics issues. • Support demand planning and inventory replenishment activities based on sales trends, stock levels, and business requirements. • Ensure adequate stock availability to support retail and e-commerce sales. • Monitor logistics KPIs, identify operational gaps, and implement corrective actions. • Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, productivity enhancement, and operational efficiency. • Develop and maintain logistics SOPs, processes, reports, and operational controls. • Work closely with E-commerce and Customer Service teams to resolve order fulfilment, delivery, return, and customer issues. • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and third-party logistics providers to ensure smooth operations. • Prepare regular reports on inventory, warehouse, delivery, logistics cost, service levels, and operational performance. • Support new initiatives, system enhancements, and process improvements within the Supply Chain function. Key Performance Indicators • Warehouse & distribution efficiency • Inventory accuracy and stock variance • Product availability / OOS reduction • Order fulfilment performance • Last-mile delivery SLA • Delivery success rate • Return and failed delivery rate • Logistics cost and productivity • Stock loss / shrinkage • Customer delivery experience • Process improvement and operational efficiency Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field. • 5–8 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, distribution, or supply chain operations. • Experience in retail, e-commerce, consumer electronics, FMCG, or a similar industry preferred. • Strong experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, distribution, and last-mile delivery. • Experience managing 3PL/logistics service providers will be an advantage. • Good knowledge of ERP, warehouse management, inventory, and e-commerce systems. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and coordination skills. • Good command of English communication, both written and verbal. • Strong MS Excel and reporting skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-location retail environment.
