Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cashier role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Cashier will handle customer transactions, including processing payments, issuing receipts, and ensuring accurate cash and card handling at the point of sale. Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting guests, answering basic questions about products or services, maintaining a clean and organized checkout area, and promptly resolving billing or payment issues. The role also involves reconciling cash drawers at the end of shifts, following company procedures for returns and exchanges, and adhering to all hospitality and safety standards. The Cashier will collaborate closely with front-of-house and service teams to provide a welcoming, efficient experience for every guest. Qualifications • Candidates should possess strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact clearly and courteously with guests and team members in a fast-paced hospitality environment. • Candidates should possess cash handling, basic math, and point-of-sale (POS) operation skills to ensure accurate and efficient transaction processing. • Candidates should possess organization, attention to detail, and time management skills to manage queues, balance cash drawers, and maintain an orderly workstation. • Candidates should possess problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to address billing discrepancies, guest concerns, and transactional issues professionally. • Candidates should possess teamwork and collaboration skills, working effectively with supervisors and colleagues to uphold service standards and operational procedures. • Previous experience in retail or hospitality cashiering or front-of-house roles is beneficial; familiarity with video-based or digital recruitment tools is a plus. • Ability to stand for extended periods, follow company policies, and work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; proficiency in English required, and additional languages commonly used in Dubai (such as Arabic) are an advantage.
