You bring our food, drinks, and spaces to life through warm, confident service and genuine human connection. Your role is to ensure every Earthling feels welcomed, cared for, and excited to be here - whether they’re joining us for a quick coffee, a long lunch, or a vibrant evening. This role is hands-on, guest-facing, and energy-driven. You are expected to know the product, own your section, and deliver service that feels effortless, personal, and aligned with Earth’s lifestyle ethos. What on Earth Will You Do? • Welcome guests warmly and guide them through menus, specials, and recommendations. • Deliver food and beverages efficiently, accurately, and with attention to presentation. • Create genuine connections with guests, ensuring they feel seen, relaxed, and well looked after. • Anticipate guest needs and respond quickly to requests or feedback. • Handle basic guest concerns professionally and escalate when needed. • Set up and maintain tables, stations, and service areas according to standards. • Ensure your section is clean, organized, and ready for service at all times. • Coordinate closely with the kitchen and bar to ensure smooth service flow. • Support turn-over during busy periods while maintaining service quality. • Assist with events, activations, and peak service periods as required. • Maintain strong knowledge of menus, ingredients, beverages, and pairings. • Confidently promote specials, experiences, and upsell where appropriate. • Answer guest questions clearly and accurately. • Accurately input orders into the POS system. • Process bills and payments correctly, following cash-handling procedures. • Ensure all checks are closed properly and responsibly. • Work collaboratively with fellow colleagues across F&B and operations. • Attend daily briefings and contribute to a positive, energetic team atmosphere. • Represent Earth Hotels’ values in every interaction - with guests and colleagues alike. • Follow the approved sequence of service from greeting and order confirmation through follow-up, payment and farewell. • Ask about dietary requirements and allergies, record them clearly in POS and confirm communication with the kitchen and bar; never promise an item is allergen-free without verification. • Take responsibility for the accuracy and settlement of checks in your section; escalate voids, discounts and complimentary items for approval. • Serve wine according to training, including presentation, correct glassware and measures; involve the Junior Sommelier for recommendations and specialist requests. • Attend role-specific induction, menu and beverage training, SOP and sequence-of-service training and mock service. • Support assigned station setup, equipment familiarisation and opening checklists; report missing items, defects and training gaps before launch. • Follow approved hygiene, allergy communication, safety and emergency procedures; report incidents and unsafe conditions promptly. • Carry out additional reasonable duties within training and competence as assigned by management.
