Personal equipment is prepared and that are rescue ready at all times. • undefined • It only takes seconds for a drowning or medical emergency to occur thus; it is extremely important to be proactive and attentive while on duty. At no point that a lifeguard is permitted to take their eyes off the area unless directed otherwise by a supervisor. • undefined • Ability to react calmly, swift and effectively in emergencies situations. • undefined • Enforce all aquatic facility policies, rules and regulations. • undefined • Complete checklist and guests records as required. • undefined • Participate in regular in-service training sessions and maintain fitness level (strength and endurance). • undefined • Report any maintenance, work related issues or hand over to the direct supervisor. • undefined • Maintain the pool facility in its best possible condition and report to the head any maintenance issues. • undefined • Ensure the swimming pool area is safe and clean. Inspect facilities daily to ensure pool and deck areas that safety standards are maintained. • undefined • Also filling the water temperature and chemicals percentage check list. • undefined • Handling guests complains. • undefined • Perform guarding duties or other responsibilities as requested by the supervisor or management when required. • undefined • Help the pool attendant when required and taking the ownership if guest ask for assistance even if it’s not related to lifeguard duties.
