Injection Molding Maintenance Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a manufacturing company specializing in plastic injection molding. Salary : 1600 USD per month / 6000 SAR per month plus bonuses The ideal candidate should have: • 2–5+ years of hands-on experience maintaining plastic injection molding machines • Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including PLC-related alarms, motors, sensors and control systems • Practical knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical systems • Experience in preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis and machine repairs • Technical education in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering • Experience with HMD or TYD injection molding machines would be an advantage. Key Responsibilities • Diagnose and repair faults in injection molding machines, including injection and clamping units, hydraulic pumps, valves and related components. • Troubleshoot electrical control panels, PLC-related alarms, motors, heaters, thermocouples, sensors, relays and contactors. • Read electrical diagrams; use test instruments safely to identify root causes rather than replace parts by trial and error. • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections, maintain checklists and propose corrective measures for recurring failures. • Respond to production breakdowns, coordinate repairs with shift supervisors and record machine downtime and completed work. • Assist with machine installation, commissioning and maintenance of auxiliary equipment. • Identify critical spare parts and report maintenance needs and equipment risks. • Follow electrical isolation and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures; escalate work beyond competency to qualified specialists.
