Math & Science Teacher

Mandatory – 6-7 years of teaching experience at high school level or equivalent, with experience teaching Mathematics and Science. Responsibilities: • Prepare and deliver structured Mathematics and Science lessons to National Trainees and employees, aligned with approved curricula and learning objectives. • Develop lesson plans, presentations, worksheets, exercises, teaching aids, and digital learning resources to support effective classroom and blended learning. • Teach Mathematics and Science concepts using practical examples, demonstrations, and applications relevant to industrial operations, maintenance, and power/desalination environments. • Apply differentiated teaching methods to accommodate learners with varying proficiency levels, learning needs, and occupational backgrounds. • Customise learning materials and activities for different technical areas, including Operations, Maintenance, and Craft. • Conduct placement, diagnostic, formative, and summative assessments to evaluate learners' mathematical, scientific, and problem-solving abilities. • Monitor learner progress, identify academic gaps, and provide individual coaching, constructive feedback, and remedial support where required. • Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessment results, learner performance, and overall academic progression. • Prepare academic performance reports highlighting learner achievements, proficiency levels, areas for improvement, and training outcomes. • Advise supervisors on teaching practices, assessment methods, and learner competency standards while ensuring proper training documentation. • Review and update teaching materials to maintain curriculum relevance, accuracy, and alignment with quality assurance and accreditation requirements. • Support Emiratization objectives by contributing to the development of National Trainees and employees through effective training and academic support.
