Maintenance Manager KSA Technical Recruitment Campaign 2026 Location: Saudi Arabia Function: Maintenance Technologies: RO Desalination | CCGT Power Generation | Solar PV Job Summary ACWA Operations is seeking experienced Maintenance Managers for upcoming opportunities across power generation and water desalination plants in Saudi Arabia. The role is responsible for leading mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation and control (I&C) maintenance activities, ensuring plant reliability, equipment availability, and cost-effective maintenance operations in accordance with contractual requirements, OEM recommendations, and HSE standards. Roles & Responsibilities • Develop and implement maintenance strategies, long-term maintenance plans, and departmental objectives aligned with plant requirements and OEM recommendations. • Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities across mechanical, electrical, and I&C disciplines to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime. • Plan and manage major maintenance outages, including scope, resources, contractors, spare parts, budgets, and execution timelines. • Monitor maintenance KPIs, including equipment availability, MTBF, preventive maintenance compliance, and maintenance backlog, while driving reliability improvements through root cause analysis. • Prepare and manage maintenance operating and capital budgets, ensuring cost control and effective resource utilization. • Oversee spare parts inventory, OEM service agreements, maintenance contractors, and procurement requirements to support operational continuity. • Ensure compliance with HSE standards, Integrated Management System (IMS), maintenance procedures, and regulatory requirements. • Lead, coach, and develop maintenance teams while promoting continuous improvement, operational excellence, and effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Job Specifications Minimum Education • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Minimum Experience • 12–15 years of relevant experience in a similar industrial or plant maintenance environment, including several years in a managerial position. • Experience within the power generation or water desalination sector is preferred. • Experience developing and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance processes is highly desirable. Required Skills • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and I&C maintenance, equipment reliability, and maintenance management practices. • Experience in preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, root cause analysis, and downtime reduction. • Strong understanding of outage planning, contractor management, and OEM maintenance requirements. • Knowledge of CMMS systems such as SAP PM or Maximo. • Understanding of PPP arrangements, O&M contracts, and contractual obligations. • Strong leadership, planning, problem-solving, communication, and people management skills. Work Conditions • Plant-based position in Saudi Arabia. • Availability to support critical maintenance activities, planned outages, and emergency situations as required.
