Procurement and Suppliers Manager

Role Description The Procurement and Suppliers Manager role is a remote position responsible for overseeing end-to-end procurement activities and supplier relationships. Day-to-day tasks include identifying sourcing needs, managing purchasing processes, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost-effective, quality-focused procurement decisions. The role involves evaluating and developing suppliers, monitoring performance against agreed KPIs, and resolving issues related to delivery, quality, and compliance. The Procurement and Suppliers Manager also collaborates with internal stakeholders to forecast demand, align procurement strategies with organizational goals, and maintain accurate records and reports for audits and continuous improvement. Qualifications • Demonstrated experience in Procurement and Supplier Management, with the ability to lead sourcing and purchasing activities. • Strong Analytical Skills and expertise in Supplier Evaluation to assess cost, quality, reliability, and risk. • Background in Supplier Development, including improving supplier performance and fostering long-term partnerships. • Knowledge of contract negotiation, purchasing best practices, and supply chain management. • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills. • Proficiency with procurement systems, ERP tools, and data analysis software. • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) are an advantage.
