Interior Designer

Interior Designer | Reef Group Position Title: Interior Designer Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Job Type: Full-Time About the Role Reef Group is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to support the design and development of retail stores, offices, and other commercial spaces across the Group. The role will be responsible for developing interior concepts, space planning, material selection, technical drawings, and coordinating with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure design concepts are executed effectively and aligned with brand standards. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in commercial and retail interior design, with the ability to balance creativity, functionality, brand identity, customer experience, and project requirements. Key Responsibilities • Develop interior design concepts for retail stores, offices, and commercial spaces. • Prepare space plans, layouts, mood boards, material selections, and design presentations. • Produce and review technical drawings, detailed plans, elevations, and design specifications. • Develop 3D visualizations and design proposals when required. • Ensure designs are aligned with brand identity, operational requirements, and customer experience. • Coordinate with Project Management, Real Estate, Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Operations, and other relevant teams. • Work closely with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and vendors throughout project execution. • Review shop drawings, material samples, finishes, fixtures, furniture, and lighting proposals. • Conduct site visits to monitor design implementation and ensure compliance with approved concepts. • Identify and resolve design-related issues during construction and fit-out. • Support new store openings, renovations, relocations, and refurbishment projects. • Ensure projects are delivered according to approved design, quality standards, timelines, and budget requirements. • Research new materials, design trends, retail concepts, and innovative solutions. • Maintain organized design documentation, drawings, specifications, and project records. • Support value engineering without compromising design quality or brand standards. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related field. • 3–5 years of relevant experience in Interior Design. • Strong experience in retail, commercial, hospitality, or branded environments is highly preferred. • Experience in store design, fit-out projects, or multi-branch retail environments is an advantage. • Strong knowledge of space planning, materials, finishes, lighting, furniture, and interior detailing. • Proficiency in AutoCAD is required. • Experience with 3ds Max, SketchUp, Revit, Lumion, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools is preferred. • Ability to read and prepare technical drawings and shop drawings. • Good understanding of construction and fit-out processes. • Strong creative, visualization, and problem-solving skills. • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Ability to conduct site visits and coordinate effectively with contractors and suppliers. • Strong Arabic and English communication skills. • A strong portfolio of previous interior design projects is required.
