Data Engineer - Investment Management

Data Engineer | Investment Management I’m working with an investment management company looking for a Data Engineer to help build and improve the data infrastructure supporting its investment teams. You’ll work with a range of financial datasets, building reliable pipelines that bring together information from internal systems and external providers. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with investment and technology teams, helping make complex data accurate, accessible and ready to use. What you’ll be doing: • Building and maintaining data pipelines for financial and market datasets • Integrating data from third-party vendors and internal sources • Improving data quality, consistency and reliability • Developing and maintaining databases and data models • Working with investment and technology teams to understand their data needs What we’re looking for: • Strong Python and SQL skills • Experience building data pipelines and working with complex datasets • Experience with financial or market data • A good understanding of databases, data modelling and data quality • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail If you’d be interested in learning more, please get in touch for a confidential conversation.
