Sales Support Engineer - HVAC

TMS is looking for a Sales Support Engineer to review customer inquiries, prepare technical and commercial offers, and handle project documentation for industrial HVAC equipment. Our products include packaged air conditioning units (PACUs), air handling units (AHUs), air-cooled chillers and condensing units. Key Responsibilities •⁠ ⁠Study customer inquiries, RFQs, project specifications, equipment schedules, drawings and technical datasheets. •⁠ ⁠Identify and summarise technical requirements, scope of supply and points requiring clarification. •⁠ ⁠Prepare quotations and complete technical and commercial offers. •⁠ ⁠Review proposed equipment against customer requirements and identify technical deviations. •⁠ ⁠Prepare technical datasheets, compliance schedules, clarification responses and revised offers. •⁠ ⁠Prepare and maintain project documentation, including technical submittals, document registers, approval submissions and final handover packages. •⁠ ⁠Review client comments, update documents and follow up on outstanding submissions and approvals. •⁠ ⁠Coordinate with the design team regarding unit design and equipment selection. •⁠ ⁠Follow up on customer inquiries, quotations and project requirements. •⁠ ⁠Review purchase orders against approved offers and prepare order handover documents. •⁠ ⁠Maintain accurate project files, document revisions and submission records. Qualifications and Skills •⁠ ⁠Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering, or a related discipline. •⁠ ⁠Fresh graduate or up to 3 years of relevant experience. •⁠ ⁠Basic understanding of HVAC equipment, refrigeration principles and technical specifications. •⁠ ⁠Ability to read and interpret technical documents. •⁠ ⁠Good English communication and professional email-writing skills. •⁠ ⁠Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. •⁠ ⁠Strong attention to detail, organisation and follow-up skills. •⁠ ⁠Ability to manage multiple inquiries and meet submission deadlines. •⁠ ⁠Willingness to learn and take ownership of assigned tasks. Previous HVAC training or experience in quotations, technical offers or project documentation will be considered an advantage.
