Project Manager / Scrum Master – IT & Digital Transformation

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager / Scrum Master to lead and drive the delivery of enterprise IT, digital transformation and SAP-related initiatives within a large-scale automotive business environment. The successful candidate will combine strong project management expertise with hands-on Agile/Scrum leadership, taking ownership of the end-to-end project lifecycle while ensuring delivery remains aligned with business objectives, agreed timelines, scope, quality standards and approved budgets. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, product owners and external implementation partners to deliver digital initiatives across Aftersales, Parts & Inventory, B2B platforms, Omnichannel, Used Cars and related business areas. Key Responsibilities 1. Project & Delivery Management • Manage projects throughout the entire lifecycle, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, delivery and closure. • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, risk registers and communication plans. • Monitor project progress against agreed scope, timelines, quality and budget baselines, identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions. • Lead project kickoffs, business blueprint sign-offs, SIT/UAT readiness, cutover, go-live, hypercare and project closure activities. • Manage project financials, including cost tracking, monthly financial reconciliation, chargebacks and budget reporting. 2. Agile & Scrum Leadership • Promote Agile principles and coach delivery teams on Scrum practices and continuous improvement. • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives and Backlog Refinement. • Identify and remove delivery impediments to ensure teams remain focused and productive. • Collaborate with Technical Product Owners and business stakeholders to align delivery activities with product roadmaps and business priorities. 3. Stakeholder & Vendor Management • Act as the primary point of contact between internal technology teams, business stakeholders, product owners, external vendors and implementation partners. • Coordinate multi-vendor delivery teams across onsite, nearshore and offshore environments. • Manage stakeholder expectations, responsibilities, dependencies and escalations. • Organize and lead steering committees, program review boards, project status meetings and stakeholder workshops. • Establish clear communication channels, governance structures and RACI matrices. 4. Business Analysis & Solution Coordination • Support project discovery, scope definition, solutioning and high-level effort and timeline estimations. • Facilitate workshops with internal teams and external vendors to assess requirements and delivery approaches. • Understand business processes and product requirements, challenge assumptions and contribute to solution-related decisions. • Coordinate integration dependencies across SAP, digital platforms, middleware and third-party applications. 5. Reporting & Project Governance • Ensure compliance with established project management and governance frameworks. • Provide regular project status reports covering progress, risks, issues, dependencies, financial performance and forecasts. • Monitor team capacity, resource utilization and delivery performance. • Identify potential risks and schedule or cost variances early, developing recovery plans where necessary. • Drive continuous improvement and contribute to Agile delivery maturity. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline. • Minimum 8 years of overall IT delivery experience. • At least 5 years of experience as an IT Project Manager and/or Scrum Master, working in Agile and hybrid delivery environments. • Proven experience delivering enterprise digital transformation and/or SAP-led projects. • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum frameworks and project management principles. • Mandatory Scrum Master certification: CSM, PSM, SAFe or equivalent. • Demonstrated experience managing multiple vendors and distributed delivery teams across onsite, nearshore and offshore environments. • Experience managing project budgets, resource capacity, delivery forecasts, CAPEX/OPEX and financial governance. • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience engaging with senior business stakeholders and leadership. • Hands-on experience with JIRA, Microsoft Project / Project Online, Confluence, SharePoint and Microsoft Teams. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in the automotive industry, particularly Aftersales, Parts & Inventory, B2B/Tradepoint, Omnichannel or Used Cars. • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA, SAP RISE, EWM, Inventory Management, B2B trading platforms or B2C e-commerce. • Previous experience working in the UAE or GCC, preferably within a large enterprise or conglomerate environment. • PMP or PRINCE2 certification. • Experience with Visio, Power BI and Generative AI tools.
